La géographie : Pourquoi ? Comment ?

Abstract
I explain the development of my thinking as outcome of two main sets of interrelated influences : (i) the literature and the teachers that help me to discover and understand the world ; (ii) the social engagement that challenges and allows to test the theories.
Recognising the richness of geography, given its broad scope, I point its importance : (i) for the social integration and to inform citizenship ; (ii) to inform spatial decisions and policy making; (iii) to contribute to policy assessment and evaluation.
