Les relations « spatiales » entre géomatique et géographie

Abstract

Although Geomatics (GIScience) is usually identified as being part of Geography, some misunderstandings might remain between these disciplines. In this paper, we focus on « space » being the link between geography and geomatics. Some fundamental geomatics researches are presented to illustrate (potential) new interconnections between geography and geomatics.
